The Back-Office Billing & Account Services Specialist provides day-to-day operational services including, but not limited to, determining daily positions, performing account reconciliations, clearing of transaction files, opening, closing and address changes for accounts in internal software programs, reporting performance, maintaining data in billing software, running quarterly billing, coordinate with delivering bank and processing the monthly ACH for advisors.
Key Areas of Contribution:
Serve advisors and their clients by capturing, updating, maintaining and periodically reporting and disseminating client account information in an accurate and timely manner and processing monthly invoices including payment to advisors. Works closely with the Accounting Specialist.
Perform day-to-day operational services including, but not limited to, downloading transactions, prices, and positions from Custodians, updating account records including opening and closing of accounts, perform account reconciliations, and performance reporting. Maintaining billing software, processing quarterly billing and processing monthly payments to advisors.
Maintain current knowledge of First Affirmative's systems, operational procedures, processes and service standards to provide and promote optimal advisor/client services.
Education/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent plus one to three years or more of related work experience, preferably in financial services or investment management field, required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field is preferred. Experience working with outside custodians, Schwab preferred. Requires working knowledge of customer relationship management software, Salesforce preferred. Working knowledge of portfolio management system software is a plus, Advent AXYS preferred. Knowledge of accounting software, ability to learn Accpac, Billport and Printboss.
