  • Overview

    Folio Institutional is looking for experienced Sales Coordinators to join our sales team. Each individual will be responsible, in collaboration with assigned external sales team members, for identifying and qualifying prospects for the company’s platform and services, and for preparing such prospects for additional follow-up and completion of the sales cycle.



    • Create profiles of qualified prospects
    • Conduct prequalifying activities to create initial relationships with qualified prospects
    • Provide feedback from prospects as to platform and service enhancements, gaps, and advantages
    • Set meetings for the external sales people after completing prequalifying activities
    • Fulfill requests for information and manage follow up communications with prospects
    • Provide technical demonstrations of the company’s platform
    • Provide research and sales support using database tools, industry resources, internet search, etc.
    • Work with marketing department to ensure timeliness and relevance of customer and prospect related materials
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all company products, services and strategies
    • Research and maintain comparative information on competition
    • Perform competitive analysis & create strategy for getting to economic buyer, and Centers of Influence to shape deals
    • Ensure all lead generation and related activities are logged into SalesForce CRM accurately and on a timely basis
    • Partner with External Sales team, Conversion/Implementation team and Operations/Customer Services teams on conversion activities and on-boarding of new relationships
    • Monitor assigned external sales team members progress and provide updates to key metrics as needed
    • Assist in the preparation, organization and registration for industry related events and conferences


    • A minimum of 2 years experience in financial services, preferably marketing, selling and/or supporting custody, managed account or clearing brokerage services used by registered investment advisors and other institutions
    • Ability to build and maintain a solid pipeline of prospects by making all necessary and relevant phone calls to identify prospects
    • Ability to understand the strategy of selling, the methodologies of creating opportunities, and the importance of developing long-lasting business relationships
    • Knowledge of process orientation for sales training & development
    • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses (Willing to sponsor for qualified candidate)
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Proven track record of meeting designated business goals in terms of assets, revenue, profitability and 30-60-90 day activities plan documented and maintained on SalesForce CRM
    • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
    • Outstanding presentation and inter-personal skills
