First Affirmative is seeking an Investment Analyst to support a number of strategic objectives for the Chief Investment Officer, including investment and portfolio model management support, administration and advisor support



  • Maintain and analyze internal reporting for use in manager due diligence, manager selection, and ongoing monitoring
  • Coordinate mutual fund/manager ESG Questionnaire process – distribution, collation and review
  • Support model management on third party platforms (coordinating with platforms, maintaining allocations)
  • Prepare presentation materials for senior management
  • Support CEO and CIO in developing models (managed mutual fund models, model folios)
  • Perform analysis and communicate recommendations
  • Schedule and organize meetings with other team members; take complete, well-organized notes; preparing notes for distribution
  • Manage Manager Profile and Factsheets processes – production and publication
  • Update mutual fund and manager due diligence reports
  • Post new documents and commentary to T.I./shares with advisors via other channels
  • Supports CIO in writing quarterly and ad hoc market commentary
  • Work with internal IARs (audit reporting system) to support “House Account” relationship management – preparing reports, joining calls etc.



  • 2-5 years of experience in financial services, corporate finance, investment banking or consulting
  • Experience in SRI/ESG is STRONGLY preferred; demonstrated passion will be considered in lieu
  • CIMA qualified or willing to study for CIMA/CFA
  • Series 65 (willing to sponsor qualified candidate)
  • AIF (willing to sponsor qualified candidate)
  • Previous experience working with multi-manager strategies, mutual funds, or managed products
  • Strong technical skills (across Excel, industry tools)
  • Proven ability to distill highly complex, technical ideas into concise and articulate professional written communication
