    Folio Financial, Inc. is looking for talented full-time Front-End Developer to utilize state -of-the-art web technologies to ensure our products look great and perform complex functions while being intuitive and easy to use. We are seeking a self-motivated, enterprising front-end developer with a thirst for emerging technologies; who strives to consistently develop cutting edge web applications.


    • Develop user interface for customer facing web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and SASS.
    • Integrate UX/UI designs and wireframes into a user-friendly and intuitive interface.
    • Design, develop, maintain and enhance web pages based on business requirements using industry best practices.
    • Integrate with back-end systems to create rich, data-driven web applications.
    • Maintain, debug and test applications as needed.
    • Coordinate with design team to modernize our existing user experience and collaborate on new projects.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (can be offset by experience).
    • 5+ years of developing rich, customer-facing web applications.
    • Hands-on development experience with HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
    • Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
    • Experience with API-driven web development.
    • Experience with modern frameworks such as Anguar4.
    • Extensive knowledge of cross browser compatibility and browser degradation strategies.
    • Experience with Image Rendering and Optimization.
    • Understanding of back-end application technologies (preferably J2EE/JEE).
    • Solid understanding of Web Accessibility/WCAG.
    • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines while being detailed orientated.


    Work Environment:

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


    Physical Demands:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
